Mom*Training!

I have a new summer project… Mom-Training!  Mom has been trying to lose weight for years but doesn’t really have the motivation to get out and bust her butt burning calories.  She had a hard time last week searching for a dress for my friend’s wedding and was frustrated because she could no longer fit into a 14 and now needs a 16.  She’s decided that because I’m living with her and Dad again and that since Dad’s borderline obsessive about bicycling and I’m borderline obsessive about running lately, she’s going to get herself in shape.

Monday is weigh day #1.  She’s going to do bi-monthly weigh-ins, on the first and fifteenth of every month.  No cheat weigh-ins.  This morning we walked 4 miles together and jogged a couple times intermittently in Hafer Park, a nice little park about half a mile from our condo.  I’m expecting some impressive results.  We took some “before” pictures today, which I promised not to post until we have some after shots for comparison.
