New distance record.
I did 10 miles this morning in Edmond. Until today, 9 miles was my distance record. I finished in 1:40:08, 6 mph exactly as the average. I felt really good about it. Over one thousand calories before the day has really even begun. My parents wanted to bike for a while too, so they just went along with me for the ride. Good deal for me because I get to drink their water, talk to them occasionally, laugh at them when I pass them on foot, and run faster to stay caught up.
This photo below also counts for Mom*Training Day 3. Yesterday was Day 2 for Mom- she did a 30 minute total body workout while I was running with the Edmond Running Club. So she’s got 3 days down, weigh day #1 tomorrow, and I had a 17 mile weekend. Feels good.
